Hancock Pheasant Hunting - Our hunting packages are only late October thru mid November
2 or 3 day Hunting Packages Include:
- Access to a Pheasant Hunting on privately owned land
- One night stay prior to 1st day hunt, check-in after 4pm, check-out by 4pm on last day of hunt
- Up to 3 rooster pheasants per person per day
- Lodging accommodates up to 7 hunters
- Access to fully furnished kitchen
- Access to bird cleaning station
- Access to freezer
- Satellite TV - Wireless Internet - Laundry Facilities are included
Additional Items and Details
- Price is based on a minimum group size of 4 hunters
- Guided hunt from 10am - 2pm: $250 per person per day plus tax
- Trap shooting available upon request - ask about pricing
- Non-Shooting Guest: $75 per night
- You will need a SD Hunting License, purchase on the app: Go Outdoors South Dakota
- SD Sales Tax is 6% (not included in price)
- 30% non-refundable deposit is required to book your hunt, remaining balance due 1 day prior to departure
- Checks are acceptable
- 3% surcharge for PayPal credit card payments
- You will be required to sign a hold harmless agreement
What to Bring
- We recommend a 12 gauge shotgun
- Shotgun shells for hunting are not included - 6 shot is recommended
- SD Hunting License
- Cooler for transporting birds home
- Several layers of clothing - check the weather prior to hunt
- Comfortable hunting boots and socks
- Blaze Orange hat and vest
- Brush pants or chaps if it is raining or wet
- Safety glasses and ear protection
- Gun cleaning kit
- Gloves
- Coat and/or Jacket or pullover depending on the weather
What to Expect
- Hunt from 10 am to approximately 2 pm
- The house/lodge:
- 5 bedrooms with a total of 7 beds
- 2 bedrooms on the main floor with 2 single beds in each. 3 bedrooms in the basement with a single bed in each
- Full kitchen
- 2 full bathrooms
- Living Room on main floor that seats 6
- TV room downstairs that seats 2
- Additional refrigerator/freezer in the basement
- Large dining room table that will seat 6
